Monogram Design

Graphic Design Monogram Photoshop

This was an assignment I completed in my Intro to Graphic Design class while I was a dual enrollment student at Fitchburg State university. The assignment asked us to create a monogram of our initials using photoshop. I made many iterations of my monogram however this was the one I liked the best. This was my first real experience working with photoshop and I learned a lot about the program and the creative process used by many designers.

For this project I was tasked with creating an appealing poster for a school event. There where many requirements listed out in this project, however even with the long design process the poster was very well liked by all the school staff!

Postcard Design

This was a project I completed in my Typographic Design Class at Fitchburg State University. This assignment called for us to create a postcard for a font of our choosing. I chose to create a postcard for Gill Sans, as it's one of my favorite fonts. I did in depth research into the font's origins and formed it into an “education” postcard. On the front I created a Fish named “Gill” out of different characters from the font.

Graphic Design Illustrator In-Design

This was my final exam project I completed for Color Dynamics. This was a “choose your own project” type where I was able to do anything as long as color was the main focus of the project. I decided to create a children's book about a raindrop who is a different color from the rest. My original idea was changed after I started writing the story as I just couldn't think of a way to tie everything together. In the end I wrote an inspiring story about a little dewdrop that has lost its color and over the course of the book they learn to love themselves and embrace the color within! After I wrote the story I created and illustrated each page using Adobe Illustrator and made the page layouts in Adobe In-Design. I submitted my book to Visions where it was selected to takepart in a gallery installation!
